Metal PCB

A metal PCB (Metal-Core Printed Circuit Board) features a metal base, typically aluminum or copper, instead of the standard fiberglass. It is designed for superior thermal management, efficiently dissipating heat from components to prevent overheating. This makes it ideal for applications like LED lighting, power electronics, and automotive systems, where heat control is critical. The metal core enhances the PCB's mechanical strength and durability. Common types include aluminum PCBs (for general use) and copper PCBs (for higher thermal conductivity). While they offer improved performance, metal PCBs tend to be more expensive and complex to manufacture.
